About This Show

Ojibway brave Anung begins his journey quest. Challenged by mysterious forces and creatures of nature, he finds comfort in Grandfather’s tribal wisdom. This multicultural tale of spiritual maturation, combines live action with puppetry in a unique holiday vision of courage, generosity and sacredness beyond the boundaries of Western World tradition.

Written by Robin Metz the play is based on the novella by Carl Nordgren as told to him by former Tribal Council Chief Steve Fobister (Baminowekapo) of the Keewatin Ojibway, Grassy Narrows First Nation, Canada
