About This Show

"Expect to hear a well-polished set from a performer who can deliver a song
even better than she can take down a bad guy."
– Los Angeles Times

“… one of the most beautiful voices now performing in cabaret… [the show]
is magnificent and what cabaret is all about."
– Jerry Friedman, ABC San Francisco

After a 20-year absence from the live stage, Lynda Carter recently returned to sold out, record breaking runs at San Francisco’s Plush Room and Los Angeles’ Catalina’s Jazz Club, the success of which has led to the recent recording her new CD, set for release in the fall of 2007.

In An Intimate Evening with Lynda Carter the performer presents an array of jazz classics and standards with a six-piece ensemble. The show includes "Put the Blame on Mame," "Blues In the Night" and "As Time Goes By," under the musical direction of Johnny Harris, who has worked with such legendary stars as Shirley Bassey, Paul Anka and Tom Jones. The musical conductor accompanying Carter will be pianist Michael Orland, arranger and associate musical director for the hit FOX-TV series American Idol.
