What can an out-of-work writer (Kevin K. James) learn from his wife’s 93-year-old grandfather (Tom McBeath) on a road trip from Calgary to his retirement trailer in Mesa, Arizona? For starters, the old guy’s not so interested in artsy notions of visiting watershed battle sites no matter how pivotal to history. He’s also not so keen on scenic routes and newfangled ideas about restaurants and motels when clearly Denny’s and Motel-6’s are the only way to go! Join Paul and Bud as they negotiate the hairpin turns of one life stalled and one heading for its final exit.
