Waiting For Bordeaux is an award-winning absurdist piece, along the same lines of its Beckett predecessor, exploring the theme of waiting. Three friends wait on their orders and each other at a reunion happening at a Nineties’ San Francisco restaurant featuring nouvelle cuisine. Hunger, unrequited love, wine, friendship, “what is art” and “what is not art” are served up by an asexual god. Waiting for Bordeaux is presented as part of the 15th annual San Francisco Fringe Festival.
