Transcendental Wild Oats

Berkeley City Club’s, Aurora Theatre premieres TRANSCENDENTAL WILD OATS. LeClanche DuRand adapts Louisa May Alcott’s memoirs of her 1843 trip to the “Fruitlands”, a Utopian society. The story traces Alcott and her father as they interact with luminary neighbors such as Ralph Waldo Emerson and Henry David Thoreau. This is an intriguing look at exceptional thinkers pondering the society of their day.
