Speaking in Tongues

Speaking in Tongues, by Andrew Bovell receives its West Coast premiere from The Actor’s Collective. The play delves into the murky territory of intimacy and trust within relationships, and the darker side of our emotional selves. It swirls around the strangely interlocked fates of nine characters, the first of whom we meet in a seedy hotel. They are two married couples who are cheating on each other – a twisted version of the swinger trend – because they no longer know how to connect with their spouse. Jon Drawbaugh directs.
