San Francisco Fringe Festival

The 2006 San Francisco Fringe Festival brings 39 different shows to nine venues in downtown San Francisco (and one in Oakland). The Fringe Festival features fresh, exciting theatre of all kinds for open-minded audiences of all persuasions. Now in its 15th year, the San Francisco Fringe Festival offers bright, new, often hysterical, and sometimes shocking theatre by up-and-coming writers and performers, as well as seasoned veterans. Often over-the-top and under-the-radar of traditional theatre, “The Fringe” has its rabid devotees – and wins more fans every year.
