About This Show

Passion, the intensely emotional one-act opera by Stephen Sondheim (music) and James Lapine (book), deals with a man’s relationship with two women. The show begins in 19th century Milan as Giorgio, a young military officer, is in the midst of an affair with the pretty Clara. When he is transferred to a remote provincial outpost, his commanding officer’s willfull and sickly cousin becomes obsessed with him. The two women force Giorgio to explore his own deepest feelings and fears.

There is an additional preview on Wednesday, March 6 at 8:00pm.
