A cabaret diva worthy of her own category of performance, the sultry-voiced chanteuse comes to us from Mexico City?s hip cabaret scene. Astrid camps up traditional Mexican songs — the end product being her unique style of Latin kitsch performance art, which she calls “Heavy Nopal.”
