Amanda McBroom, whom Variety has dubbed “…the greatest cabaret performer of her generation,” makes her first San Francisco appearance in seven years. Her program includes a selection of her original songs and selected gems from her concert repertoire. When Amanda’s award-winning song “The Rose” hit #1 all over the world, her performance of it on the Golden Globes, Grammys and The Tonight Show launched her career as a singer & songwriter. Ms. McBroom’s songs have been recorded by the likes of Bette Midler, Leanne Rimes, Barry Manilow, Judy Collins, Barbara Cook, Anne Murray, Harry Belafonte, Betty Buckley, The Manhattan Transfer, Donny Osmond and the Chipmunks.

Sony Holland has built an ardent following initially attracted by On A San Francisco High – her CD of original material released in 2004. She has played to packed houses at top Bay Area jazz venues including Yoshi’s, Pearl’s, The Empire Plush Room, The Carmel Jazz & Blues Company, 142 Throckmorton Theatre, the Lesher Center, the San Francisco Jazz Summerfest, the Fillmore Jazz Festival, the Sausalito Arts Festival, etc, Among her career highlights – singing the National Anthem at SF Giants stadium, performing for Royal Princess Masako of Japan and joining an all-star cast for the Richmond Ermet AIDS Foundation at the Palace Of Fine Arts.
