AfroSolo Arts Festival is a celebration of African American Art, Culture and Entertainment.

August 15 at 3pm: New Work, New Voices, $10.00

Cutting edge works developed in AfroSolo’s What’s Your Story? workshop. Featuring: Sia Amma in What Mama Said About Down There; Juanita Brown in New Girl; Idris Hassan in He Loves Me, He Loves Me Not; Javier Reyes in Babies r Listening; Shanique S. Scott in Mad at God; and Timothy Taylor in Just Like Communion Wine.
August 21: Forum at 5pm, Performance at 8pm: Explorations in Black Erotica, $5-$15 for Forum, $20 for performance

Myths and realities of African American sexual identity. A pre-performance forum examines the subject from artistic, academic and sociological points of view. Artists and panelists TBA. For audiences 21 and older.
