About This Show

Join us for a true-to-Dickens style version of A Christmas Carol, with imaginative sets, intense visuals, cinematic hues and shadow play which all bring this tale of Victorian ghosts, Scrooge’s epiphanies and genuine holiday spirit from dark to light.

While we slowly exit from a serious economic downturn and people the world over are encouraged to find happiness based more on spirit than finances, A Christmas Carol and its inherent message speak louder than ever. As Scrooge enters the realm of his memories, confronts the truth of his present and imagines a future without hope, we learn what truly matters; truth, kindness and heart. What better way to impart lessons than with spooky apparitions, intense imagery, haunting realizations, rich dialogue and, in the end, utter spectacular joy.

Dickens does it best with his original intent, just as the fairy tales of old were wont to do. With this production we plan to stick as close as possible to the real message within the authors words and use his inventive tactics to present them. With a terrifically twisted and authentic set, a cast of both professionals and amateurs, old-fashioned stage trickery and live sound fx, mixed in with a few modern-day splashes to add to the delight, our show promies to be unique and entertaining to a wide variety of folk.

A Christmas Carol by Charles Ludlam, Adapted from the novel by Charles Dickens.
