About This Show

Sledgehammer Theatre kicks off its 2002-2003 season with Valparaiso, a wickedly funny examination of marriage, media, and modern life from the award-winning writer Don DeLillo. This San Diego premiere follows the aftermath of Michael Majeski?s business trip gone awry. Covering for a colleague suffering from a rare disease, Majeski embarks on a business trip to Valparaiso, Indiana. How he ends up in Valparaiso, Florida and then Valparaiso, Chile is enough to get the paparazzi and talk-show hosts working at top speed. As he is catapulted into the media spotlight, Majeski must decide if being a star is worth losing everything, including his mind.

There is a Monday Night Pay-What-You-Can on June 24th at 8pm.
