The Action/Reaction Theater Company presents “Young Carl,” a dramatzation of life and poetry of Carl Sandberg. Sandburg(1878-1967), poet and author, quit school after eighth grade and spent a decade working in a variety of jobs before traveling as a hobo in 1897. Sandberg was virtually unknown to the literary world, when in 1914, his poems appeared in the nationally circulatedPoetry magazine.
