About This Show

Padua Playwrights Productions presents the world premiere of Wilfredo, written and directed by award-winning playwright Wesley Walker. The play is set in a dreamlike version of Tijuana, an ?other world? of the American imagination. Surreal in its imagery, the play follows the travails of Wilfred, the old proprietor of a Tijuana bar, who has lost his favorite gold coins. Wilfred enlists the aid of his friends and his barmaid to find the lost treasure. In the end, the coins will return, but they will not be the same coins; they will have changed, as will have everything around him.
