About This Show

Wait Until Dark is a terrifying psychological thriller that pits a blind woman against heroin smugglers, in a plot that involves murder, a mysterious doll, and the darkness that comes when the lights go out.

A sinister con man, Roat, and two ex-convicts, Mike and Carlino, traced the location of a mysterious doll to the Greenwich Village apartment of Sam Hendrix and his blind wife, Susy. Sam transported the doll across the Canadian border as a favor to a woman he did not know, unaware that several grams of heroin were sewn inside. When the woman is murdered, the situation becomes terrifying. The con man and ex-convicts convince Susy that the doll is evidence that will prove Sam had nothing to do with the woman’s murder.

She refuses to reveal its location, and finally realizes that she is the victim of a bizarre charade. Roat kills his associates, and a deadly game of cat and mouse. Susy knows that the only way to play is by her rules, so when darkness falls she turns off the lights, leaving them both to maneuver in the dark.
