About This Show

Jack Axelrod returns to International City Theatre taking on the title role in Jeff Baron’s award-winning international hit, Visiting Mr. Green. Co-starring as Ross Gardiner, a character based on the playwright, is David Heymann. Directed by caryn desai [sic].

Visiting Mr. Green is a funny and touching play about an accidental friendship. What starts out as a comedy about two men who do not want to be in the same room together becomes absorbing and affecting as they get to know each other, come to care about each other, and open old wounds they’ve been hiding and nursing for years. This two-hander is a moving story about growing older, struggling with change, and staying open to love.
