About This Show

Set in 1955 The Stage of Mississippi vs. Emmett Till tells the gripping, landmark story of a Chicago boy visiting Mississippi who is kidnapped and savagely murdered. That child was Emmett Till and his horrific lynching was to become a watershed event in the evolution of the Civil Rights movement. Finally the mother of the slain youth tells the real story of an American tragedy in her own words. Now we hear the long awaited truth form a mother’s perspective.
