About This Show

In Moliere’s The School for Wives, the middle-aged bachelor Arnophe has come up with the perfect plan to get a perfect wife: raising one. Hidden in a convent, Arnophe’s ward Anges is kept ignorant and innocent. But as soon as Anges is brought home for their wedding, she meets a young man named Horace. The two youngsters struggle to stay together as Arnophe tries to keep them apart.
