New York City
It’s a musical, sort of. But, it’s really a wall-to-wall, song-after-song entertainment extravaganza of Blues Brothers-era hits including "Think," "Respect," and "Everybody Needs Somebody to Love." Jake and Elwood, the beautiful Bluettes and a sizzling hot band literally fill up the stage and hall with the infectious sound of soul and R&B.
The original Blues Brothers tribute band started in an English pub in 1991. Producers who were fans of the characters created by John Belushi and Dan Aykroyd brought the band to the stage in a rapturous run in London’s West End. The production evolved, has toured for years in Europe and Asia and now, at last, appears in the U.S.
From the moment Jake and Elwood "descend" on stage to the stand-up finale, the Blues Brothers are "on a mission" to entertain.
