The Jacket Live Ninja Theatre

NANDA is a group of lifelong friends who were inspired by acrobatics, circus and vaudeville acts as children and have grown to take their inspiration to the next level. Combining comedy, juggling and acrobatics with martial arts, modern music and pop culture and video projection, NANDA produces a unique, energetic and thoroughly modern show. The Jacket traces four very different men (a treasure hunter, a Wall Street exec, and two Japanese assassins) as they compete to get their hands on a legendary jacket that grants the wearer godlike martial arts skills and magical powers. Whoever controls the jacket wins, so it’s no-holds-barred in this quest for the prize. The thrilling, action-packed story is lightened up with moments of humor and performance in the vein of the Marx Brothers and Charlie Chaplin, making for an exciting and family-friendly show. Bronkar Lee opens the show with his unique, funny and astounding blend of juggling, human beatboxing and comedy.
