Malik Gaines writes and directs The Ghost of Nova North for the Lillian Theater. Nova North, an aging African-American diva in exile, reconstructs her torrid past from her calm Mediterranean veranda, laying out her history like tarot cards, as a young ghost writer struggles to assemble her story from the jigsaw puzzle of memories and specualations.
