Sylvia

In this 1995 comedy by A.R. Gurney, a middle-aged New Yorker and his dog form a devoted bond. The man feels revitalized, but he winds up spending so much time with the dog that it eventually threatens both his professional life and his marriage. Dog owners will empathize, however.
