About This Show

Written by Sy Rosen, Strangers on a Subway is a very dark comedy which takes place on a New York subway car as it follows the lives of several passengers. In this world of accepted violence the conversations easily flow from romance to betrayal to real estate prices to serial killers to women with missing ears.
This macabre play is part thriller, part mystery, part psychological drama, part love story, part musical and mostly all comedy. It has a strange, dark somewhat raunchy and politically incorrect sense of humor as it glimpses into the souls of these lonely characters as they try to understand the world around them. Strangers on a Subway builds to a very surprising climax that is both disturbing and brutally humorous.
