Wouldn’t you rather have thirty minutes of wonderful than a whole lifetime of nothing special? Grab a tissue and a good friend for Steel Magnolias.
Written after the death of his sister, Robert Harling’s Steel Magnolias was Harling’s way to work through his grief. Using characters from his own life, Steel Magnolias is filled with humor and heartbreak, telling the tale of the ladies of Louisiana’s Chinquapin Parish. Director R. Benito Cardenas leads an all-Knightsbridge Company member production of this popular story updated to be relevant for today’s audience. Benito is assisted by Vance Roi Reyes, with set and lighting design by KBT’s Artistic Director and Producer Joseph Stachura.
