Peter Pupping’s Cafe Pacifico CD Release Event

The music on this album explores various Latin styles from around the world including Nuevo Flamenco, Nuevo Tango, Cuban, West African, Bossa Nova, Samba and Latin smooth jazz. Five of the tracks are original compositions by different members of the band. There are also six arrangements of pieces originally composed by Astor Piazzolla, Stevie Wonder, Djalma Ferreira & Gabriel Ruiz. Notably one of our originals "Luna Llena" composed by pianist Allan Phillips was chosen as a wake up call for the Space shuttle astronauts during the recent final missions of the space shuttle program.
