About This Show
Kaufman and Hart’s Once in a Lifetime is a fast-paced spoof of Tinseltown. The show tells the tale of three down-and-out vaudevillians who decide to head to Hollywood and try their luck with the newly-invented talkies. A series of blunders brings the most dimwitted of the three to fame and fortune until he is literally made a god of the industry.
