Oh What a Lovely War

About the Show

Oh What A Lovely War is a musical comedy by Joan Littlewood and Theatre Workshop, which tells the story of World War One using the songs and documents of the period. In this West Coast premiere at the Knightsbridge, fifteen performers sing and dance on this jaunty trip through history – underlining the immense human costs of war while celebrating the bravery and resilience of the human spirit – and finding remarkable parallels in today’s world. Directed by Marshall Bissett.
