MacHomer

MacHomer, or “The Simpsons Do MacBeth”, is a one man vocal extravaganza featuring over 60 voices from TV’s favorite dysfunctional family, in a performance of Shakespeare’s bloodiest tragedy. Homer Simpson stars as MacBeth, Marge Simpson as Lady MacBeth, and Mr. Burns as King Duncan, just three of 60 characters, all of whom are immediately recognizable. The script, (85% of which remains the words of William Shakespeare) is true to the tragedy of the original, with the addition of topical references and symbols, MacHomer is hilarious, touching, beautiful to watch and refreshingly accessible.
