About This Show

This autobiographical quirky, honest love story is written and performed by Claire Mills. The story follows a 20 year old virgin who flees California and her catholic upbringing to spend her Junior Year abroad in Birmingham, England. Hoping to leave behind her idealized image of love, she embarks on a quest to “lose it.” She is studying music, and we see how her burgeoning love life affects her development as a cabaret singer. To her surprise, she discovers that reality can be just as good, and maybe even better, than her fantasy.
