About the Show

Lisa Vroman is a star of Broadway and opera stages, in concert halls and grand celebrations around the world, and she makes her Coachella Valley Repertory debut on August 10 performing her one-woman show, INGÉNUE….INGÉ-NOT-SO-NEW! Broadway’s legendary director Harold Prince said of her, “… few ladies today possess the exquisite voice, clarity and range of Lisa Vroman.” With a voice that is “crystal clear and beautiful …,“ Vroman made her Broadway debut in Andrew Lloyd Weber’s Aspects of Love. She also starred on Broadway and in Los Angeles and San Francisco as Christine Daaé in his The Phantom of the Opera, garnering theater critics’ awards for her portrayal. Vroman also holds the distinction of being the first to play both Fantine and Cosette in Les Misérables.
