Henry, an astrophysicist, and his wife Sonia attempt to put their precocious six year-old son to bed when the doorbell rings and throws them into a state of panic. Henry’s superior and mentor Hubert and his wife Inez have arrived for a dinner party…a day early! The evening careens out of control as the audience witnesses three different versions of the same basic scenario which brilliantly depicts how chance, with its impact on actions and behavior, changes everything.
