About This Show

The closing of one year and the beginning of a new one often promotes contemplation about success and accomplishments, failures and shortcomings, and goals for the future. The classic, Biblical story of Jonah embodies these themes as it accounts the legend of a man who is given a second chance. Rita Mailheau, Director of San Diego Branch Productions, believes that the story of Jonah is an inspiring one for children and adults alike, describing the show as “an account of a man who made the wrong decision and was given a second chance, something we can all relate to. [The show] demonstrates God’s grace, mercy, forgiveness, and love and shows the amazing impact one life can have on an entire community when you choose to do the right thing.”
