In the Chips

The chips referred to in the title of Mac MacDonald’s new musical In The Chips are computer chips that contain data on things vital to national security including weapons systems that could defend us in the event of attack or plunge us into a global thermonuclear holocaust. In the Chips follows the story of Samantha, a brilliant young computer scientist and programer of the most powerful supercomputer in history, Euphoria 2010. Will Euphoria 2010 be used for research purposes or will Samatha’s rogue military boss General Major implement his devious plan to employ the supercomputer as a strategic weapons system?
