Director Jaz Davison and Choreographer Jennifer Gabbert join forces again along with Musical Director Michael Upward for a fresh new look at this Broadway classic, featuring book by Jo Swerling & Abe Burrows and music & lyrics by Frank Loesser. Songs include such perennial standards as “Luck Be A Lady,” “Fugue for Tin horns” and, of course, “Guys and Dolls.”
Without changing any dialogue the actors have additional juice to work with instead of simply making the show a “Cartoon”, something it has always been referred to; pointing out the resoundingly realistic elements of the show and the nature of people who see things in black and white and then come to terms with the beauty of gray.
