About This Show

The Knightsbridge Theatre’s inaugural 2009 performance, Greater Tuna, serves as a glimpse into the future (and past) of president-on-his-way-out George W. Bush (aka Shrub). Small-town Texas radio announcers Arlis and Thurston are giving the former president a warm reception home on radio OKKK, coming to you live at 270 watts from Greater Tuna, Texas. Local Clan 247 has baked him a cake and Pearl, the town’s used-gun shop owner, has set aside a beautiful 357 Magnum for the former president. As Pearl says, "It’s guaranteed to kill and if it don’t, bring it on back and we’ll get him something that will. Welcome home, Georgey." Tuna’s enthusiasm to have W. back is a reflection on the characters that populate this little town–all embodied by two Knightsbridge company members who barely pause to breathe between character changes.

Greater Tuna, written by Jaston Williams, Joe Sears, and Ed Howard, is guaranteed to entertain audiences with vignettes that feature physical comedy and a lineup of costume changes that’s nothing short of amazing.
