Godspell

Godspell is a unique reflection on the life of Jesus, with a message of kindness, tolerance and love. Based on the Gospel according to St. Matthew, the show features a sparkling score by Stephen Schwartz. The production draws from various theatrical traditions, such as pantomime, charades, acrobatics and vaudeville, and re-creates such powerful scenes as the Last Supper and the Crucifixion. The musical also features a string of well-loved songs, including “Prepare Ye The Way Of The Lord,” “Learn Your Lessons Well,” “All For The Best,” “All Good Gifts,” “Turn Back, O Man,” “By My Side,” and the international hit, “Day By Day”–all of which help bring the parables of the bible to life.

Ginny Moon directs and Lori Margolis choreographs.
