Fool for Love, by Sam Shepard, is a comedy where the curse of the past haunts love in the present. Set in a lonely motel, the play is the story of May and Eddie’s manic and ill-fated love. Despite taboos and knowing better, they can’t end their romantic connection. Their breaking apart and cleaving together has become a ritual and despite a new man in May’s life, she’s just as stuck on Eddie as he is on her. It seems to run in the family. Directed by Bobby Costanzo, Produced by The House of H & D, Designed by Joel Daavid, Produced by special arrangement with the author.
