Developed from African-American folktales and slave experiences using dance, drumming and storytelling, Flight is a joyous exploration of the healing power of stories, especially those brought over from Africa that teach, inspire, give hope and renew the spirit. A celebration of the oral tradition passed down from those who were kidnapped and transported across the ocean, their only possessions the rhythms of Mother Africa and their empowering stories.
