Beth Henley’s Crimes of the Heart is a comedy that explores the relationships between three very different sisters struggling to make sense of their lives. The trio’s reunion in their hometown of Hazlehurst, Mississippi triggers a hilarious mix of conflicts, crises and revelations. The three sisters learn that no matter how bizarre the circumstances, laughter and love will keep a family strong. Crimes of the Heart was the winner of the 1981 Pulitzer Prize and the New York Drama Critics Circle Award. Lewis Hauser directs.
