About This Show

Christine Andreas first took Broadway by storm as Eliza Dootlittle in the 20th Anniversary production of My Fair Lady (opposite Ian Richardson) and subsequently received Tony Award nominations for her work in Oklahoma! and On Your Toes. She last appeared on Broadway when she created the starring role of Marguerite in The Scarlet Pimpernel opposite Douglas Sills and Terrance Mann. Other Broadway credits include Words and Music with Sammy Cahn, Nancy in Angel Street with Dina Merrill, Rebecca in Rags, and Alice in Legs Diamond. In London’s West End, she starred in The Fields of Ambrosia and in 2002 received rapturous notices for her portrayal of Vera Simpson in the Prince Music Theater’s production of Pal Joey in Philadelphia for which she was awarded a 2003 Barrymore Award as Best Actress in a Musical, and a sold-out, three-week engagement of her one-woman show Here’s to The Ladies.

Ms. Andreas’ television credits include Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, Another World, The Cosby Show, PBS’ Musical Comedy Tonite, and the role of Ava Gardner in the Fox mini-series Mia, Child of Hollywood. Regionally, she has embraced Shakespeare to Sondheim from Alaska to Washington, D.C. More recently, she made her debut at Carnegie Hall in Carnegie Hall Celebrates Lerner & Loewe and has performed at the White House, Lincoln Center, Town Hall, with symphony orchestras throughout the country, and in some of the finest supper clubs in New York including the Algonquin Hotel’s legendary Oak Room and the Carlyle Hotel’s Café Carlyle.
