By the Waters of Babylon

Demián Bichir and Shannon Cochran star in the Geffen’s Los Angeles premiere of Pulitzer Prize winner Robert Schenkkan’s By the Waters of Babylon, directed by Richard Seyd .

The play follows the friendship which flowers between Arturo (Bichir), a gardener in exile from his native Cuba, and Catherine (Cochran), the widow of a Texas college professor who has been ostracized by her community. Arturo arrives to tend Catherine’s neglected garden.
