Ellen Geer directs Peter Hall?s musical adaptation of George Orwell?s Animal Farm, a fairy tale for all ages. With lively music by Richard Peaslee and humorous lyrics by Adrian Mitchell, the show paints a poignant picture of the fall of idealism and the rise of tyranny after the animals of Manor Farm rise up against their human owner in a struggle for rights and equality.
The playing schedule changes to Saturdays at 4:00 p.m., August 3 through September 21; and Sundays at 7:30 p.m., June 30 through July 28 & September 29.
