About This Show

Tony Kushner’s Pulitzer Prize and Tony Award-winning masterpiece is performed in repertory. Set in 1985-1986, it involves the impact of AIDS and the Reagan era on a gay couple as they come to terms with the disease; on Manhattan power-broker and McCarthy era villain Roy Cohn and his fight for survival; and on a Mormon couple and their struggle with temptation and sanity. It asks the question, “What happens when God abandons Heaven?”
