About This Show

Ghaffari portrays Mineo in his one-man play entitled, “Rebel with a Cause,” based on the two-time Oscar nominated actor’s life. Mineo, best known for his roles in “Rebel Without a Cause” and “Giant,” died Feb. 12, 1976, in West Hollywood. The openly gay actor was brutally stabbed to death behind his apartment complex. “When I started reading about Mineo, I felt this need to portray him on stage,” Ghaffari said.

Duffy Hudson, a native of Ohio, first became introduced to Edgar Allan Poe at the age of nine.”My father comes into my room reading ‘The Raven,’ ” Hudson said. Hudson began to memorize the poem and performed it in front of his third grade class. Duffy has performed Poe 1,000 times to more than 300 standing ovations, and was recently honored with the title “Voice of Poe” for the Poe House and Museum in Fordham, New York.
