With the sobering backdrop of a World War II U.S. concentration camp, A Jive Bomber’s Christmas examines the dilemma of Japanese Americans who are unconstitutionally incarcerated by their own government. Faced with an uncertain future and their own political
differences over their situation, the inmates try to lift their own spirits by organizing a holiday show, if they can get everyone to cooperate. This Japanese American holiday classic musical, which first debuted in 1993, is co-written and co-directed by Saachiko and Dom Magwili.
