A Christmas Carol

International City Theatre’s critically-acclaimed circus-version of A Christmas Carol is back for a third year of juggling, acrobatics, stilt walking, and giant, life-sized puppets. Director caryn desai puts a big-top spin on Doris Baizley’s adaptation of the classic tale.

In ICT’s circus-version of the timeless tale, we encounter a company of traveling clowns – including singers, dancers, jugglers, acrobats, mimes, stiltwalkers and life-sized puppets – who create a magical world of make-believe. The clowns and puppets quickly become the characters in Dicken’s classic Christmas story, and we are pulled into the life of Ebenezer Scrooge as the Christmas Spirits work their magic and warm his heart.
