About This Show

3hree is a trio of new one-act musicals by three teams of musical theater artists chosen by legendary director Harold Prince.
The Mice is set in Chippewa Falls, MN, where the winter freeze has driven the town’s rodents indoors. The town seeks help, but the local exterminator has bigger things on his mind.
Set in the 1920’s on a hot and sultry night, Lavender Girl is the story of a Princeton student who encounters a mysterious and ethereal girl dressed in purple who changes his life forever.
Directed by Harold Prince, The Flight of the Lawnchair Man is a work of fiction inspired by several amateur pilots who used balloons to soar thousands of feet into the air. In this musical version, a man denied a pilot’s license because of poor vision straps balloons to a lawn chair and heads for the stratosphere. Our pilot encounters other pioneers of aviation on his journey into the wild blue yonder.
