Based on the true story of Violet and Daisy Hilton, Siamese twins who became stars during the Great Depression, this 4-time Tony nominated musical is a moving portrait of two women joined at the hip. Their extraordinary bond brings them fame but denies them love. Told almost entirely in song, Side Show, with book and lyrics by Bill Russell and music by Henry Krieger, follows the twins from the vaudeville circuit to Hollywood on the eve of their appearance in the Tod Browning 1932 cult film, Freaks.
The Lyric Stage Company is offering a Pay-What-You-Can performance (with a $10 minimum requested) on Saturday, May 31 at 8pm.
