All of a Kind Family

Based on the novel by Sydney Taylor, All of a Kind Family is adapted and directed by Melia Bensussen, featuring original music by Catherine Stornetta and lyrics by Melia Bensussen and Catherine Stornetta.

Life is rich for a family of five immigrant girls growing up poor on the Lower East Side of New York in the early 1900’s. Familiar Jewish traditions and new American holidays provide glimpses into different times, places and cultures, plus excitement, mischief and a wonderful surprise! This beloved children’s classic is turned into a musical production for the first time.
